Formal launch of the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority

On 1 February 2024, at the Guild Hall in York there was formal launch of the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority.

The Mayor elected in May 2024 will lead the Combined Authority.

Keith Tordoff MBE said:

This is yet another mayor step forward for Devolution for York and North Yorkshire. The formal was an event for key partners, and the media - not the mayoral candidates, which is understandable.

But credit needs to be given to all the people that have contributed, and a great many hours, to get things this far.

My aim from here is to continue my work in promoting overall awareness of the elections coming up on the 2 May 2024, along with views, my strategy, and my manifesto items.
